Alvin Ailey – 4th– 14th September – Sadler’s Wells
With the company celebrating its 60th year anniversary this year, world-acclaimed African American dance company Alvin Ailey returns to the UK for a highly-anticipated performance at Sadler’s Wells. The legendary company will perform three programmes, with highlights including the soul-stirring masterpiece, Revelations, the UK premiere of a piece called Lazarus, and Ella, artistic director Robert Battle’s ode to the celebrated singer.

Fame The Musical – 11th September – 19th October – Sadler’s Wells
You want fame? Well Fame costs. Those immortal words will always be associated with the iconic film/TV series Fame, which heads to Sadler’s Wells in September in celebration of the 30th anniversary tour of Fame The Musical. Starring Mica Paris, Keith Jack and Jorgie Porter, this modern adaptation of the much-loved classic retells the story of New York City based performing arts students as they navigate through life’s highs and lows in pursuit of fame and fortune.

Beverley Knight sings the songs of Stevie Wonder – 1st – 14th October – Nationwide
Our Bev pays tribute to the Master of Music himself – Stevie Wonder – in a highly-anticipated series of 10 shows taking place across the country. There really isn’t the language available to adequately describe just how precious Stevie is to us. His music is so intertwined in our lives it’s hard to envision what a Wonder-less world would look and sound like. And as one of the UK’s most celebrated soul artists, who better qualified to do justice to Stevie’s extensive catalogue of musical gems than Beverley Knight. Backed by the Leo Green Orchestra who are set to perform some pretty awe-inspiring arrangements of Stevie’s timeless classics, make sure you pick up a ticket if this show heads to a town near you. Angie Stone -17th – 19th October – Nationwide
The UK can’t get enough of Angie Stone, and she repays by consistently blessing us with outstanding performances which is testament to her singing/songwriting/performing talent. This autumn Angie performs three shows at three of the UK’s major cities: London, Birmingham and Manchester. Expect a trip down memory lane with classics like Wish I Didn’t Miss You, My Sunshine and Everyday performed with that inimitable soulful grit associated with this living legend.

Death of A Salesman 23rd October – 4th Jan 2020 – Piccadilly Theatre
Following a successful sold out run at London’s Old Vic, the classic play Death of a Salesman heads to London’s Piccadilly Theatre in October. Starring American actor Wendell Pierce, and Black British actress Sharon D Clarke, this modern reworking of the classic Arthur Miller play stars Wendell as an ambitious salesman whose spark begins to fade and with it the promise of attaining the American Dream. Expect powerful performances from these talented thespians.

Blues Fest 2019 – 25th – 27th October – O2 Arena/Indio2
