As we still try to come to terms with the tragic and unexpected passing of Prince, those of us who were fans are now finding ways to work through our despair by celebrating his life, legacy and of course, music. UK based charity Autism Rocks recently announced that they are planning a special musical tribute to the musical genius featuring Cee-Lo Green, Mark Ronson (doing a DJ set) and headlined by Morris Day And The Time.
Prince was a supporter of the charity and performed for them in 2014 and 2015, which ended up being his last UK show. As the fallout continues from Madonna’s painfully underwhelming tribute performed at The Billboard Awards at the weekend, this news comes right on time. The event will take place on 24th and 25th June at the Eventim Apollo in Hammersmith. Tickets are priced from £44, and can be purchased here.
